Connect Outlook and your agent handles the two things that eat your morning: the inbox and the calendar. It finds and summarizes mail, drafts replies, checks your schedule, and sets up meetings — sending anything only with your approval. Outlook is an individual connection: you connect your Microsoft account, and the agent uses it only when you are the one talking to it. Colleagues connect their own; admins can’t access yours.

What agents can do

Try asking

  • “What’s in my inbox this morning that actually needs me?”
  • “Find the message from legal about the vendor contract and summarize the ask.”
  • “Draft a reply saying the proposal looks good, pending the security review.” — lands in your drafts.
  • “What does my Thursday look like?”
  • “Book 30 minutes with Paula next week to discuss the roadmap.” — the invitation goes out after you approve.

Connect your Outlook

1

Open Integrations

In the Leme dashboard, go to Integrations and select Outlook.
2

Sign in with Microsoft

Select Connect and approve on Microsoft’s consent screen with the account you want the agent to use — mail, calendar, and read-only contacts access.
3

Check the agent

An admin enables the Outlook integration on the agent; each teammate who wants email and calendar help connects their own account the same way.
On many Microsoft 365 tenants, an administrator must grant consent to the Leme app before employees can connect. If the Microsoft sign-in says approval is required, that’s your IT admin.

Permissions

Creating a calendar event counts as external communication because invitations email the attendees. The drafts-first pattern works well here too: keep sending behind approval, let the agent prepare complete replies in your Drafts folder, and press send yourself in Outlook. Adjust in Integrations → Outlook → Agent permissions — see Permissions & approvals.

Troubleshooting

Individual connections are per person — connect your own account from Integrations → Outlook, even if colleagues already connected theirs.
Your Microsoft 365 tenant requires admin consent for new apps. Forward the request to your IT admin; once granted, connect again.
Tell the agent your timezone explicitly (“book it for 10am São Paulo time”). It schedules with full timezone information, so ambiguity in the request is the usual culprit.
Microsoft authorizations can be revoked by an admin, a security policy, or a password change. Reconnect from Integrations → Outlook.
